The Light That HurtsClass

「Haedap — Finding Answers」 × one-day class

AI Shorts Class.
First-timers welcome.

Never used AI before? That's fine. You learn how to use AI well, the talking stays short, and you spend most of the time making — finishing one short of your own.

Sat, Oct 24, 2026, 1–3 PM. Sign-up is open. Venue: Goamgil Cafe 2F, Yangju. · Background: AI-generated image.

01 What you'll make

A warm-up together, then your own short

①

Practice 1: a mini-game or one scene

Follow along together and make a small mini-game or a single scene with AI — a first, hands-on taste of asking AI well.

②

Practice 2: a short of your own

After the break, go from scenario to image to video and make one short about anything you like — the sea, your club, your neighbourhood, your pet.

Your short: five or six 5-second clips joined into 25–30 seconds, vertical, with captions and an AI disclosure.

02 How it works

Scenario, then image,
then video

Three steps in a fixed order, so nobody gets lost. This is how you make your short in Practice 2.

  1. A Scenario

Ask an AI chat for a short scenario

Tell an AI chat service your idea in one line (we'll give you the address on the day). It writes a few sentences of story — five or six moments, start to finish. You keep what you like and change the rest.

  2. B Image

    One image per moment

In the same AI chat, make the opening image of each moment for free. Fix anything that looks wrong before moving on.

  3. C Video

5 seconds per cut, then join them

Upload each image to the AI video service and make a 5-second clip (image-to-video). Make one first to try it, then five or six in all. Join them in the order you made them with a phone editing app (e.g. the Instagram Reels editor or CapCut), add captions, and your story is done. The AI video service is provided by the organisers.

Nothing runs on your laptop — the AI work happens in online services, and you join the clips on your phone.

03 Schedule

Mostly hands-on

Saturday 24 October, 13:00–15:00. Small grey times count from the start; they may shift a little on the day.

04 What to bring

A smartphone, a laptop and an email address

Bring

  • Smartphone; laptop recommended
  • An email account, for signing up to the services
  • Charged devices and chargers

We'll tell you before class

  • How to use the AI video service in class (provided by the organisers)
  • A phone editing app to install (Instagram or CapCut)
  • A Google account to have ready

05 After class

Post it as an
Instagram Reel

Your short is yours. The default is to post it on your own Instagram as a Reel — we'll go through it together at the end of class.

  • Hashtags: #고통의빛 #바다의밤 #해양빛공해
  • Mark it as AI-made: turn on Instagram's AI label, or write “Made with AI” in the caption.
  • If you chose the sea as your topic, put the source of your facts in the caption.
  • No faces, names or personal details of other people without their consent. Posting is always your choice.
  • Want it in the shorts hall? Send your Reel link to the organiser — selected shorts are introduced there, with your permission.
